First Wednesday Charity Karaoke at Fitzwilliam Inn — 11/2, 12/7 (7:00PM) Event Fee: By donation for monthly community groups… Description: Nothing is more meaningful for me than being able to see my friends in my hometown; it has been a few years since I bartended at the Fitzwilliam Inn, so you can imagine my excitement when the new owners asked me to host their first Wed. night open! We have decided that in lieu of collecting a door charge, each month we shall choose a different community group to receive donations for the event. Already we have had a couple successful events, raising money for the Twin States Network as well as the Fire, Rescue & EMS Association of Fitzwilliam. February 2nd will be the benefit for the Keene Dog Park (7-11 PM), March the Inn will be closed & April 6 will be to raise money for local scholarships for children to attend programs like Camp Takodah run by the Cheshire YMCA.
